Please, introduce yourself!

Tell us about some of the things you do when you’re not at work.
I actively participate in the Birmingham Girls Club. Here is a blurb of what we do!

“The Birmingham Girls Club is dedicated to providing a fun, casual network for our city’s ambitious women to grow their ideas, minds, spirits, and bodies while also giving back to this community through philanthropic efforts.”

Every single bit of that is completely true. I joined BGC four months ago in hopes of growing and developing more into who I really am. I have met some of the most interesting, smart, and fun women. They’ve helped me come out of my little “shell” so to speak. It’s also kind of cool to go to Walmart and see someone you know from the community. BGC is still a very new thing, but I’m excited to see what we can accomplish for ourselves and this community.

If you had to choose three words to describe these volunteer activities, what would they be?
Uplifting, loving, sincere — I say this because every experience that we have been a part of as a group goes towards making a direct impact on the life of at least one individual or their whole family.
