We work with customers to implement Daxko solutions into their associations and daily workflow. We manage the project, we discover how and why you do things currently to help us understand your needs and objectives, we consult with you on best practice approaches, we train your staff, and we support you after you begin using Daxko’s products.

Getting You Started

We start with an exceptional implementation experience. Our Project Managers leverage the knowledge gained by implementing and launching more than 400 YMCAs and JCCs. They will work with your project team to create a customized implementation timeline, and will drive the success of the project. Our Daxko Operations Solutions Analysts will spend time getting to know you and your current procedures and policies, and will consult with you on the best system configuration and practices to help you achieve your objectives. Our Data Conversion team will work with you to ensure that mission-critical data is converted and accurate on launch day.

Training Your Staff

Once all the configuration and conversion work is completed, it’s time to train your staff. Our Training Specialists use a blended training methodology, meaning we combine online, self-paced training tools with traditional classroom training. We’ll train your staff on those specific Standard Operating Procedures that you’ve developed so that the staff know what to do and how to do it on day one. We’ll be there to support you on launch day and we will work with you closely over the next few weeks to ensure maximum adoption by your staff. And following your launch, you will be transitioned to our amazing support team that is second to none.

Supporting You

Our Support Experts are awesome—just ask our customers. This team will be there to assist you through thick and thin and always with a smile on their faces and a prompt answer. We have the pleasure of answering more than 2,000 inquiries from our customers each month and are intently focused on providing solutions that meet your satisfaction, quickly and accurately. We love talking with our customers and helping them solve problems—it’s what we do best, it’s who we are!

Implementation

There’s no reason the implementation process should be painful. Daxko’s Implementation team handles the launch of Daxko products for your organization.

I grew up in a small town 45 minutes north of Birmingham and Daxko HQ. After graduating from Belmont University in Nashville in 2010, I worked in the Music and Entertainment industry producing the audio, video, and lighting aspects of live events and designing these systems for permanent installation in venues. During this time, I married my high school lady friend, Jill, and we started a family. We are expecting our first, a little girl, late this June and couldn’t be more excited for her to be here. After finding this out I began to search for a new position that would challenge me, excite me, and give me a place to invest. That search quickly ended at Daxko.

My experience in sales, driving results, and all things technical is something that I bring to the office everyday. My passion for seeing customers and partners get wins is something that drew me to Daxko and drew Daxko to me. The first thing that hits most people about Daxko is the people, and this has been no different for me. I am privileged and elated to work with the Support Team everyday, but most of all to work with our amazing customers. As a standard practice, we don’t see problems, we see opportunities and look to capitalize, as partners with our customers, on these opportunities daily.

I love interacting and working through challenges with our customers and count it a privilege to speak with you everyday. So when an opportunity arises, you know who to call. I’ll talk to you soon!

Interesting Facts:
1. I wear women’s socks. This is a commonly known fact and source of fun for the Daxko Nation.
2. I love playing, producing, and engineering music. The drums are my weapon of choice.
3. I am an extremely passionate golfer and, in my wife’s opinion, watch and play entirely too much of it.
4. Originally from North Carolina, I am a huge Tarheel fan. I have little patience for “Dukies.”

Plain and simple, there is no place like Daxko and the work environment is unparalleled to any other place I’ve ever seen. As a team member, I have all the resources I need to provide our customers with an exceptional experience. It is a great feeling to know that you work for a company that truly cares about the service they provide, and the individuals who provide it. It was easy for me to choose Daxko because I knew from the second I walked in the door that I was not just an employee of another company, but I was joining a team, a family. That’s really what sets us apart from everyone else.

Interesting Facts:
1. I play guitar and drums.
2. I love everything about Auburn University

Before coming to Daxko I worked at a small software start-up that only had 6 employees. I was initially unsure how it would be working for Daxko because it was a larger company than I was used to. It didn’t take long to erase any questions I had. I was amazed by how committed everyone was to their job and how synergistic the employees were with their fellow teammates. One thing I enjoy about working here is our team constantly steps back and analyzes our implementation processes and looks for ways to improve the customer experience. This constant improvement ensures that we have the most efficient and successful implementation process possible.

Daxko in a word is different. There is no other company in the world with the camaraderie that is found here. Every person in their unique way is helping to make this place different. I decided to work here after a number of years in the medical software industry because working for and with people that are making an impact on our community seemed really worthwhile and gives a sense of pride in what you do. The comfortable atmosphere here really sets it apart from anywhere else, and it makes customers stand up and notice because we all care how our clients do both personally and professionally. There’s no other place I’ve found that takes partnership to heart more than Daxko.

Don’t you love it when a friend tells you how to do something better, or faster? I do, and I love that about Daxko; across all our teams, we strive to make things simpler and easier for our customers. We contribute to our customers’ success by being innovative: We constantly improve our software. Write articles. Research. Troubleshoot. Brainstorm. All of our projects, emails, and phone calls are about empowering users to provide great member service. Because we work with customers that are focused on service, we tend to hire people that are focused on service as well. That’s why people admire our culture – the perks are enticing but the people are incredible.

I was born in Selma, Alabama, and grew up in Monroeville, Alabama. I got an undergrad degree in Business Administration (Marketing major) from Auburn University, immediately followed by an MBA at Auburn. (War Eagle!) In my pre-Daxko days, I was a claim representative for an insurance company and a financial analyst for a bank. I am married to a wonderful lady named Duski, and I have a super-fun son named John.
Daxko is an incredible company to work for, and the culture here is like none that I have experienced in the past. The leadership at Daxko understands that just because team members are able to have a little fun while they work, it doesn’t mean that they are going to not take their work seriously. As a matter of fact, I believe our casual work environment that encourages people to be themselves and find how they can contribute to the team has the opposite effect. The quality of the people who work at Daxko is the best thing about working here!

Interesting Facts:
I have come close to death and survived (obviously) by God’s grace on three separate occasions: (1) I fell asleep at the wheel and drove off a small cliff once while I was in college. (2) I was robbed at gunpoint once when I was a claim representative. (3) I was hit by a car walking to the parking lot when I worked at the bank. I didn’t have a scratch on me from any of these three events!

At last count, I believe I answer to about 42 different names or nicknames. Examples of these include Daniel, Dan, Dan Van, Dan Van Fleet, Van Fleet, Daddy, DV, DVF (even though those aren’t really my initials), Danny, Danny Boy, Dan the Man, Dan Van the Man, Dan Man, etc., etc.

I enjoy photography and want to learn much more about it and spend more time developing photography skills. I also enjoy writing and want to write a novel one day. (After all, my hometown is the Literary Capital of Alabama.)

I am originally from Mobile, AL and moved to Birmingham in 2001 to pursue a Business Management degree from Samford University. I have worked as a trainer and a consultant in the financial software industry for over 5 years, and joined the Daxko team in September 2011. My husband and I enjoy football, playing with our dog, trips to Disney World, and spending time with our three nieces. And for you Myers-Briggs fans, I am an ESTJ.

I love being a Daxko Team member! We have such a fun and energetic team, and we are all eager to serve our customers. When we have fun in the office, we are energized to make our customers’ days fun as well. Sometimes that requires very intense work, but because we are working together as a team, it doesn’t seem nearly as daunting. And as a Trainer, I get the unique experience of seeing our Daxko team make a difference when I am onsite and a problem is solved for the customer.

Interesting Facts:
1. I am obsessed with College Football- seriously, there is nothing I would rather do on a Saturday than watch football!!

One thing I that has been consistent with Daxko during my 4 years is the company’s focus on culture. Our teammates and leadership all strive to treat everyone as a member of their family. Many companies may say they treat you like family, but just come to Daxko and you will see we actually do it.

We also have a great way of empowering each other to hold ourselves accountable. If you have an idea, you are encouraged to not only share it, but also own it, and make it happen. Thinking outside the box and refusing to let ‘that is the way it is’ be the only answer…is how we live day-to-day in support.

I love working here. I love my job. I love knowing that when I have the privilege to talk to a customer, I will get to hear their story; I will be able to take that story and find a way to answer a need, share a better way to doing something, or resolve issue. In the end, I become a part of that story and help make a positive impact on not only the customer but also their community. The best part is that this is not just a bunch of pretty words…this is what I get to do EVERYDAY!

Interesting Facts:
• My idea of relaxing is cleaning my house.
• The best part of my day is my toddler running up to hug my legs when I get home.

I think the best way to describe the Daxko culture would be to say that it’s crazy and cool! We stay really busy, and we are constantly working to make our customer happy. While it can be hectic at times, it’s awesome to look around your pod and see team members that are your friends and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Of course I have to mention how cool the office is (with it s modern white walls and dashes of bold colors). We also get family lunch every week. This allows us to take a break with our team mates and share some grub!

Essentially, Daxko takes care of its employees. It makes working hard each day a meaningful and fun experience.

Interesting Facts:
1. I adopted a blind toothless 9 year old poodle (she is precious!)
