NTEN… Here We Come!
Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, excited to do it again.
DAXKO is getting ready for another conference this week: NTEN Technology for Nonprofits in Atlanta. What strikes me as we prepare for this event is how much we have grown. Last year we went to NTEN in San Francisco, mostly figuring out what it was all about and showing off DAXKO Accounting.
This year we have three teams going with three objectives:
- Sarah Higginbotham exploring DAXKO Accounting for nonprofits outside the YMCA
- Me, Justin Nelson and Tony Summerville going to talk with Associations, drum up business for Connect, and soak up the content
- David Gray is going to check out other companies, possible partners, and explore ideas for the NNNT (the Next Next New Thing)
Judging by the content, here’s a peek at the technology topics on the minds of nonprofits:
- Social Media – how to effectively use it
- Combating Slacktivism
- Writing a Website RFP
- From spreadsheets to CRM
- Using social networking to secure donors
There are tons more sessions. I know we will come away from the conference full of new ideas, so get ready. We have so much opportunity in front of us!
