My Heart Belongs to Daxko

Heart YouDo you feel that? It’s February – the season of love (and discounted Valentine’s Day chocolate!). It’s that warm, gooey, mushy time of the year when we spend too much money on fresh cut flowers, book romantic dinner reservations, and get suckered into watching sappy romance flicks. Since I’m head over heels in love with Daxko, I thought I’d nix the old school Hello Kitty paper valentine cards and blog my professions of love for the coolest company in the ‘ham.

Daxko, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways:

  • The Coolest People You’ll Ever Know: It’s no secret that you’re selective when it comes to hiring. It’s probably why I have the privilege of working alongside the most talented, hardworking, creative, and genuine teammates. Seriously – I LOVE the people of Daxko. Thank you.
  • A Bonding Experience: My teammates and I spend hours upon hours working together in the office. You give us a much-needed break, and a generous Team Building Budget of $75 per person (twice per year!) to get out of the office and have some fun with our fellow teammates. We’re able to use this budget to get to know one another outside of work, relax, and bond as a team.
  • Room to Breathe: I’m careful not to take this one for granted. You’ve given me a workspace that’s pleasant to work in every day. I have windows, a variety of meeting spaces, plentiful whiteboards, a spacious desk, freedom to personalize my space, and more. When I visit other work spaces, I’m reminded that you’ve really spoiled me.
  • Spirit of Innovation: It’s invigorating to be in the company of folks who are always working toward improvements, changes, or the next next thing. There are so many possibilities and exciting “What if…?” moments. Your absence of stagnation and dedication to growth is refreshing.

That’s not all, so I’ll save the rest for those Hello Kitty cards. Happy Valentine’s Day, Daxko!
