Daxko Honored as Birmingham’s Most Admired Technology Company

By | Building a Company, Culture, Industry, New Features & Updates, Workplace | No Comments

We are honored to announce that Daxko has been chosen as one of Birmingham’s Most Admired Companies by the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ). Birmingham’s Most Admired Companies are chosen by Birmingham’s top leaders – their peer companies. The BBJ asked bbj-most-admiredhundreds of members from local leadership organizations to name their top 3 industry picks in health care, technology, finance, manufacturing, professional services, real estate and non profit. They sought to determine who local industry leaders deemed the top in each category as well as name THE most admired company in Birmingham. At the event, Daxko was honored with the top spot for the Technology category. Daxko’s Senior VP of Marketing, April Benetollo, accepted the award on behalf of the Daxko Nation.

“This is a really meaningful award for us, because only 11 of our 700 customers are local. That means that it’s not the great service we provide our customers, nor how innovative our products are that make the name Daxko stand out to our peers in the business community. Instead it’s our reputation for an outstanding culture, which is a reflection of our values and team member DNA.” says Benetollo.

Daxko has been named by Great Place to Work® as one of the top 25 best small/medium workplaces in the United States on their annual list. This list is no small accomplishment; the list is published in Fortune magazine and the news broke on Fortune’s online outlet, CNN Money. Not to mention that this is our third time on the list.

Those of our customers who have been to our offices probably already know that Daxko places a huge emphasis on corporate culture. It’s one of the tenets of our company and has even earned a place in the mission statement:

“To provide technology and services that contribute significantly to the success of our customers and to provide Daxko team members with rewarding careers.”

Daxko’s emphasis on culture is something our company leaders often get asked to share with schools and other companies. To learn more about our unique culture, how that impacts our products and our customers, and how you can have a Daxko representative come to speak at your organization, visit our Speakers Bureau.

As the driving force behind our company culture, Daxko CEO Dave Gray explains it best, “We believe that our dedication to our team members through our culture fosters an even stronger commitment to our customers. And, we “believe that better people and better customer interactions always lead to better solutions.”

Daxko Named Birmingham's Most Admired Company

By | Building a Company, Culture, Employment Brand, Life at Daxko | No Comments

As if you didn’t know…there is always something going on at the Daxko Nation. Here is the latest.

A couple of weeks ago the Birmingham Business Journal released their list of Most Admired Companies in Birmingham. This list was determined by surveying Birmingham business leaders and asking them a basic question: “Which companies do you admire most in Birmingham?”  This list was divided into seven categories with technology being one of them.

Daxko ranked #1 for the Most Admired Company in the technology category!

When asked Why he thinks Birmingham business leaders chose Daxko as one they admire, Dave Gray, CEO, responded:  My hope is that they recognize and appreciate our approach to business, our culture and our talented team as well as our focus on trying to build an enduring company with a positive impact on Birmingham.

What have you done as a company to achieve those qualities? By simply focusing on what’s most important first. It starts with a true belief in our mission and values. Trying to create a unique and rewarding experience for our team members. Being customer obsessed. And finally, demonstrating focus and perseverance.
